Quickly gulping down water doesn’t solve the purpose of having it. When you have it fast, the impurities that are supposed to go out get deposited in the kidneys and the bladder.

When you drink water just before a meal, then you cannot eat properly as you feel full. If you don’t eat properly, you will not get enough nutrition. And,if you drink water right after having a meal, it disrupts your digestion. It can even cause constipation and nausea.

Though most people don’t drink enough water, there are a few who overdo it. Even when it comes to water, there can be‘too much’. Besides, drinking extra water has no health benefits.
In fact, drinking extra water can cause hyponatremia, also called water intoxication. In this condition, the sodium levels in the body can become too low, leading to swelling in the brain, coma and seizures.
