Cole Palmer’s Chelsea teammate ridiculed him after he scored a hat-trick against Man United

One of Cole Palmer’s teammates at Chelsea has mockingly referred to him as a “s*** player” following his spectacular hat-trick victory over Manchester United. Palmer scored twice in the second half of extra time to give the team an incredible win over the Red Devils.

Unbelievably, United took the lead in the 99th minute and seemed certain to secure a crucial three points in their quest for a Champions League spot. Palmer, a lifelong United supporter, however, missed a penalty kick and then scored again a few minutes later at Stamford Bridge.

The 21-year-old’s maiden senior hat-trick was completed with the last goal. Palmer took the matchball and asked his teammates to autograph it as a keepsake of his momentous occasion.

On the ball, a coworker—who shall remain nameless—jokingly wrote the term “s*** player.” Palmer flaunted the ball to his 1.8 million Instagram followers, clearly displaying the insult, but it’s unclear if he realized it.

Palmer’s first-half penalty gave Chelsea a 2-0 lead in the first half of an exciting Premier League match. However, goals from Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho tied the score just before halftime.
